Northside ISD dress code enforced
NO WEAPONS ALLOWED.
It is our wish that you have a great time at Nerdvana Con, but we are different from other conventions because we are affiliated with Northside ISD, and our event is being held on a NISD campus. Therefore, you may find restrictions on costumes a bit more restrictive than at other public events.
Dress Code and Costume Guidelines
Absolutely no weapons will be permitted, regardless of material, color, etc.

Costumes must be G-rated.

Skirts, dresses, and shorts must be no more than four inches above the top of the kneecap.

Footwear must be worn.

If your cosplay shoes hurt, bring a pair of comfortable shoes to change into.

Halter tops, spaghetti straps, exposed backs or midriffs, and see-through garments will not be permitted.

Masks may not cover your face.

2022 Judges

Rabbit of the Moon Cosplay, who also goes by Nena-chan, has 15 years of cosplay experience under her obi. Her love for anime and everything kawaii started with Sailor Moon, and currently includes Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen. Her specialty is crafting hand-made kimonos and yukatas as well as ball gowns and elaborate dresses. She has won various awards including Best Craftsmanship and First Place Overall at conventions such as Mini-Mini Con and Celebrity Fan Fest. Yhan is 20 years old and majoring in mechanical engineering at Northwest Lakeview College while working part-time at HEB. Cosplay has always been his hobby and he is also a Twitch streamer.
